Gad Elmaleh on Tintin and Spielberg
Gad Elmaleh, the Moroccan actor and performer, who is appearing in Tintin:Secret of the Unicorn as Omar Ben Salaad, talks about Tintin and Spielberg.
I have to confess that my French is almost non-existent so I have no idea what he is saying. So here is a sample of Gad Elmaleh in English.

I’m french so I’am going to translate for you.
Elmaleh say what happened before acting in the movie.
He’s saying that he pass a casting for the being in tintin in france with steven spielberg. he was really impressed because this was his first movie in english, in the USA and it was with steven as a director.
So, he has lines to learn two week before his scene, the he learn in france, in the plane, in the limousine in the USA which bring him in his hotel, and then in the van few minutes before the show.
October 2nd, 2009 at 8:48 pmBut, when he was ready to begin his scene, an assistant who was in charge to the actors gave him an paper and said, ” there are your new lines for the show”. So he learnt his lines for nothing
Thanks for the translation.
