The Bird Brothers would have made cameos in "Tintin and Alph-Art", if it had been finished.

I thought I saw somewhere that the Bird Brothers (or at least one) were gun-running, or something. Also, I'm sure I remember a scene in Red Rackham's Treasure where one of the Brothers is sitting in police waiting room, flanked by two officers.

Stephen,

Sorry, I had mixed you up with Steven, who had sent me the picture of Marlinspike. Thanks for pointing out the mistake.

I don't believe the Bird brothers are ever mentioned again. This should not be too much of a problem for the film. I suspect they will never be captured in the first place, allowing them to dog Tintin's hunt for the treasure all the way.

What ever happened with the Bird Brothers? How do you think they will get Thompson and Thomson on the ship to the treasure hunt in the movie? In the book,Herge uses the excuse that the Bird Brothers have escaped from prison and may be on the ship,so they sent them "disguised" as sailors. But they never show up,on the ship anyway, and if the creators of the new Tintin movie combine both films it may seem a bit odd to the audience that they just spent half the movie watching Tintin get kidnapped, shot at,and chloroformed by these brothers only for them to after finally getting in Jail, break right back out again! They certainly can't leave them out,as they are a chief part of the comic relief in the second book, along with Haddock.
This may be in the book somewhere and I just missed it,but is there ever any reference that they were recaptured?
Any answers would be greatly apreciated.
Stephen
P.S:The pictures you put up of Marlinspike Morphed are cool, but just to put credit to whoever is due credit I didn't send you them, unless you found them by investigating the comment I left.I don't know who did.
It is weird that Google puts sartmoulin in a quarry,I am looking into that. What is the name of the town by the quarry? Is that Sartmoulin,or another town?
