Apparently, they didn't want a black fella to be playing the role but Samuel L. Jackson was so good in the audition that they've re-written the whole series of books to accommodate him. Apparently every single book will now be based in New York and will be based around gangs, drugs and whores. A modern day take on the TinTin books. I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to TinTin gunning down some badass mo'fo's. I know, I heard that from my friend who works in a casting office.
